Standing.io (“the Service”) is operated by Ibis SaaS Holdings LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us”), of which Standing.io is a registered DBA. The Service is a clinical documentation tool. It takes clinical parameters provided by the Medical Director, organizes them into a professionally structured draft protocol book, and drafts standard organizational and procedural language around them for the Medical Director to review, adopt, and sign. Standing.io does not provide medical advice, does not recommend treatments, does not alter the clinical parameters you enter (other than spelling out unambiguous abbreviations and writing out symbols, as described in Section 3), and does not practice medicine. Drafted sections may include administration and monitoring detail, such as infusion times, observation periods and monitoring intervals, that the Medical Director did not enter. The automated checks compare the drafted text only against the parameters the Medical Director entered; they do not evaluate added detail. The Medical Director must review every drafted section before adopting it.
The Medical Director decides what to adopt. The Service does not currently offer in-product editing of drafted wording. To change drafted wording today, change the parameters and regenerate, or strike and initial on the printed copy.
All clinical parameters — including but not limited to medication selections, dosages, routes of administration, frequencies, indications, contraindications, and discontinuation criteria — are provided by the Medical Director or their authorized designee. Sections drafted by the Service are proposed language only, and become the Medical Director’s own upon their review and adoption, including any administration or monitoring detail they contain that the Medical Director did not enter. The Medical Director is solely responsible for the accuracy, appropriateness, and clinical validity of all protocol content. The Medical Director must review every drafted section before adopting it for clinical use. Standing.io accepts no responsibility for the clinical accuracy of the content.
The Service uses artificial intelligence (AI) to draft standard organizational and procedural language around the clinical parameters provided by the Medical Director. That drafted language is proposed language for the Medical Director to review and adopt; it is not medical advice and is not a treatment recommendation.
The Service does not add or change the medications, dosages, routes, or frequencies you enter; they appear in the protocol book as entered, with two deliberate exceptions. First, abbreviations on the Service’s list of error-prone abbreviations that have a single meaning are spelled out (for example, “U” becomes “units”). An abbreviation on that list that can mean more than one thing (for example, “MS”, which can mean morphine sulfate or magnesium sulfate) is never rewritten; it is flagged so the Medical Director can spell out what they intend. An abbreviation that is not on that list is neither spelled out nor flagged. Spelling out an abbreviation never adds a value such as a concentration. Second, clinical symbols and other characters the printed book cannot display, such as ≥, µ, Greek letters and arrows, are written out in words or plain characters wherever they appear (for example, “≥” becomes “greater than or equal to”, “µg” becomes “mcg”, and “→” becomes “->”). A dose, route, or frequency left blank is never filled in: it is flagged, and the protocol book prints “Not specified” in its place.
Each number, unit and prohibition word the medical director entered is looked for in the drafted text; if one is missing, the protocol is flagged for review. Dose, route and frequency print as entered, with unambiguous abbreviations spelled out. The checks do not evaluate clinical detail the draft adds. These checks do not assess clinical appropriateness and will not catch every error in drafted text. They assist but do not replace the Medical Director’s review obligation.
The Medical Director agrees to review every drafted section before adopting it for clinical use, and must not adopt drafted wording they do not accept as their own. To change drafted wording today, change the parameters and regenerate, or strike and initial on the printed copy. By signing the protocol book, the Medical Director attests that all clinical content has been reviewed, is accurate, and is appropriate for use at their clinic. No protocol book should be used for clinical purposes until it has been reviewed, adopted, and signed by the Medical Director.
Ibis SaaS Holdings LLC provides the Service “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The Company shall not be liable for any clinical outcomes, adverse events, regulatory actions, or damages arising from the use of protocol books generated through the Service. The Medical Director assumes all responsibility for clinical decisions made using protocol books generated by the Service. Standing.io’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the specific protocol book in question.
The Medical Director is responsible for ensuring that all protocols comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including scope of practice requirements for all practitioners operating under these protocols. Standing.io does not guarantee regulatory compliance and does not provide legal advice. The Service does not store, transmit, or process protected health information (PHI) as defined under HIPAA — no patient data is collected or involved in the protocol generation process.
